kitchen flow

Home is where the heart is and the kitchen is the heart of your home. If your kitchen is solid, your home feels right to you and also to potential buyers down the road. Great kitchens just add value in every way. The thing about kitchens is that they’re not easy to design.

There are many elements to consider in a kitchen design and there’s SO much content out there for “inspo”, it’s hard to know where to start. What we’re going to share with you is a few new, fresh things to consider as you plan the changes you need in your kitchen space.

MINIMAL/INTEGRATED RANGE HOOD

We are loving how streamline this look is. A design like this sets the stage for people, food and conversation to be the stars rather than your ventilation. How great is that?

APPLIANCE GARAGE

So this isn’t entirely new but we’re all about this elegant solution for small appliance/prep space. This space would traditionally be pure pantry but no power, forcing our small but oft used beauties like espresso machines, kettles and toasters onto our precious counterspace, cluttering our world. An appliance garage frees our counters and creates a workstation everyone can enjoy.

OPEN STORAGE

You didn’t know how much you needed to think about open storage until seeing this photo. Open storage isn’t a new-new concept but we haven’t seen it executed much lately. We’re hoping this changes - PLEASE. Open storage/display is especially great for small spaces as it creates more air and the feeling of more space.

That’s what we’re thinking about for the near-future of kitchens. We’ll add more as they pop up!
